About Gowri
I care deeply for my students' learning aptitude and goals, customizing my teaching accordingly. I have been known to inspire interest in learning due to my patience, adaptability (where required) and thought-provoking teaching methods. Although my Award-winning top students are always the focal point for marketing purposes, I take the most immense pride in students who at first were failing but show continuous and almost always exponential progress throughout the course of my teaching. That sense of gratification when a student who was only trying to fulfil some minimal requirement starts looking forward to every lesson and interactively participating is the whole reason I started teaching in the first place. I stick firmly to my aspiration to guide all students, igniting their interest in continuous learning. It is my responsibility to expose students to as many effective learning materials as necessary to excel in their studies. Once that spark has been lit, learning, understanding and applying any concept will be second nature to them and they will enjoy testing themselves be it in examinations, presentations or their future career.

I teach all levels of Science related subjects. I cater lessons based on students' learning aptitudes to ensure they comprehend the concepts taught and are able to critically apply them. I start class by asking students to shout out any term they can think about related to the topic of the day. Then we will connect the terms and try to apply it in a real-world scenario. I explain key concepts and gauge correct application by the end of each class. I provide comprehensive exam-oriented practice exercises to sharpen exam answering techniques. Students are encouraged to relate topics learnt with most recent developments researched online to broaden application skills. My students have won Top in the World awards for Biology across various Examination Boards.
