About Nadishiya

Hey! So as a student myself, I understand that many topics especially STEM courses could be quite challenging and grasping the core of the concept could be quite difficult. Which is why, I will help in breaking down those bigger ideas into something more tangible. The overall goal is to not just memorize, but to also understand the words. I will come prepared with lesson plans benefitting your way of understanding. Homework would also be assigned and maybe in-class practice questions as well. Questions are always welcome. The class environment would be very comfortable and a safe space for the student. The first 5-10 min of class would be dedicated to 'therapy sessions' and it would strictly between me and the student. I'm comfortable teaching in fluent English, Hindi and Punjabi

About the lesson

The lesson plan will depend on the needs of the student and how they wish to take on the subject.
As a tutor, I would come prepared with the content which needs to be reviewed for the next class. Homework would be assigned accordingly and also preparations for any upcoming tests/examinations.

I'm in my 2nd year of BSC degree at UBC. I have strong hold on Math, as well as other subjects like biology, chem and physics. I'm confident in teaching all these subjects at a high school level.
