Admitting that I found rote memorization of anatomy useless led me to discover the beauty of biological mechanisms. I earned my Doctor of Medicine from Harvard Medical School by applying this exact strategy to every subject.
Since scoring 520+ on the MCAT, I have helped 115 students master the nuances of homeostasis and microbiology. My background in medicine allows me to frame physiology and the circulatory system through a clinical lens. I work regularly with pre-med students, AP Biology learners, and adults returning to the classroom after a long break.
Scientific method skills are the backbone of my tutoring approach for homeschoolers and IB Biology students. Seeing a student finally connect photosynthesis and respiration to the metabolic needs of a cell is a high point of my week.
