About Rosa

Hi! My name is Rosa, and I’m a dedicated tutor specialising in GCSE and A-level Biology. I achieved eight grade 9s and two grade 8s at GCSE, as well as A*A*A at A-level, including an A* in Biology. I also hold a deferred place to study Medicine (MBBS) at the University of Exeter, starting in September 2025. I have experience tutoring students across multiple exam boards, including AQA, Edexcel, International Edexcel, and OCR, and I am confident in covering the entire syllabus. Whether you’re preparing for exams or looking to deepen your understanding of Biology, I’m here to help. My lessons are highly adaptable to each student’s needs, and a typical session includes: Recap and review: Revisiting previous material to reinforce understanding. Key concepts: Explaining challenging topics with clarity and breaking them down into manageable steps. Active learning: Working through exam-style questions to strengthen understanding and technique. Personalised homework: Assigning tasks tailored to address specific areas of improvement. As exams approach, I prioritise mock papers and exam drills to help students refine their strategies and feel confident under timed conditions. For those seeking additional support, I’m happy to provide extra resources and frequent message replies to address any last-minute queries. Supporting Aspiring Medical Students: As a future medical student, I also provide tailored support for students aspiring to study medicine. From guidance on personal statements to UCAT preparation and interview advice, I share strategies and insights to help my students stand out in this competitive process. Let’s Work Together!
