About Sona
My fascination with Biology started with a desire to understand how living organisms function and interact with their environment. This interest led me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences and later earn a PhD in Biological Research. Over the last 8 years, I have taught students from a variety of educational backgrounds.
I focus on creating lessons that are supportive, engaging, and easy to follow. Students are encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and explore scientific ideas with confidence. I believe learning becomes more effective when students feel comfortable and motivated.
In addition to teaching, I enjoy reading scientific publications and following new discoveries in health and environmental science. These interests allow me to bring relevant examples into lessons. Helping students grow academically while developing curiosity about the natural world is something I genuinely enjoy.

My Biology lessons focus on helping students understand life processes in a simple and meaningful way. Topics such as cell biology, genetics, ecology, physiology, and evolution are explained through clear examples and visual learning methods. I aim to make scientific concepts easier to understand and remember.
Lessons are adapted to match each student’s learning style and academic goals. Beginners receive strong support with foundational concepts, while advanced learners develop deeper analytical and scientific reasoning skills. Diagrams, discussions, and guided practice are used to reinforce understanding.
I encourage students to stay curious and actively participate during lessons. Biology becomes much more interesting when learners connect concepts to the world around them. My goal is to build confidence, improve understanding, and help students develop a lasting appreciation for science.
