About Fergus
I actually an aspiring writer who is trying to make a living on the side. That's not to say I don't take tutoring seriously!
I'm confident in my abilities in the subject. My entire family is very Biology based and so its in my genes - as biologist say.
I am a friendly, patient person who derives satisfaction from helping people achieve their goals. I try my best to understand things from different perspectives, and by doing so I can find the optimum way to teach you the subject.

I focus on understanding as a foundation for knowledge. The foundation of Biology is in its core concepts; understanding the concepts will allow you to more efficiently understand and learn Biology - this mostly applies to university level.
At A-level, I will teach you to understand the core concepts, as well as help you take in a learn the A-level material. A-levels have fixed material and so require focused learning.
A lesson can last between 1 and 1 and a half hours.
My experience comes from learning how to self-teach Biology, as well as assisting class mates with their understanding of the subject.
