About Tanisha

I have over 10 years of experience tutoring Biology and hold a BSc in Ecology and Conservation. I love working with middle school students, introducing them to the basic ideas of plant and animal life. My lessons often include nature observations and simple experiments like seed germination to make learning hands-on and exciting. Seeing a seed sprout or watching insects in the garden helps students connect with science in a real way. I also share engaging stories about biodiversity, helping students understand the rich variety of life on Earth. My aim is to spark an early love for the natural world and encourage curiosity about how living things grow and interact. I focus on creating a supportive space where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas. By combining observation, experimentation, and storytelling, I help students build confidence and excitement for biology. There is so much to discover all around us—from tiny insects to towering trees. I’m passionate about helping students appreciate the wonders of living organisms and inspiring a lifelong love of science.

About the lesson

I cover topics like biotechnology, genetic engineering, immunology, and pharmaceutical applications, making sure lessons reflect current research and breakthroughs. This way, students see how biology shapes the future of medicine and technology.

I enjoy working with learners who love hands-on projects, like DIY formulators and chemists-in-training. I support them in understanding complex ideas by breaking them down and encouraging experimentation. This helps students develop their own approach to mastering cutting-edge biological advancements.

Together, we explore how science is used to solve real problems—from designing new medicines to understanding the immune system. My goal is to make biology exciting, relevant, and accessible, so students feel confident and inspired. By focusing on practical examples and clear explanations, I help students excel and prepare for future discoveries.
