About Joanna
I have recently graduated from the University of Leeds with a 1st Class Bachelor's degree in Biology. Whilst at university I achieved a 1st in my dissertation and graduated on the Dean's list for the 2019-2020 academic year. I am currently about to start an MSc in Biotechnology.
I am particularly interested in the applications of biotechnology in plant science. This is something I got to explore as a research intern at The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, London.

I understand the intense pressure regarding GCSE and A-level exams. I therefore aim to make my students feel comfortable and at ease to ask questions.
I am extremely hardworking and organised, and so aim to provide lessons that are well researched and cover all aspects of the topic. I think it is important that lessons should include plenty of resources to accommodate for the specific students learning style. Each lesson is therefore carefully planned around the individual student and their needs.
