I strive to be a kind and patient person, especially in mentoring roles. Learning can be challenging enough on its own, so having a teacher that is understanding and encouraging makes a huge difference. I found it incredibly rewarding to teach, and I love the challenge of catering my teaching style to a student's needs.

Through my experience as a TA, in both undergrad and graduate school, I have found that teaching is something I am passionate about. I understand the challenges that can accompany learning, especially areas within STEM, and I thoroughly enjoy the problem-solving involved in teaching another person.
