About Aykezar
I am an Uyghur American immigrant who has a passion for health and wellness, design, and writing. I received a B.S. in Human Biology from U.C. Santa Cruz in 2017, and worked in the biotechnology industry for Roche Diagnostics from 2017-2022. After being in industry and seeing different paths available to me, I took a step back to focus my attention toward my design aspirations (digital design), my poetry and professional writing, and efforts into the psychological wellness space. I am excited to share my experience, and learn from students, as I continue my journey in tutoring the young minds of tomorrow.

Hello students and parents! My name is Aykezar, and my approach to tutoring is a simple one: listen to the needs of the student. I believe in a one-on-one approach to teaching, because each of us learns and retains information differently. Over my years tutoring first as a student myself, and then as a professional in the corporate world, I have witnessed the power of listening to individuals' needs when it comes to how they can best grasp a lesson or technique and retain it for their lives to come. A typical lesson with me would begin by grounding ourselves into the lesson plan for the session, and then depending on the subject or service, I will have a 2-3 part lesson prepared for the student. I welcome students anywhere from age 9-21 for tutoring services in a variety of subjects, but my strengths lie in English, writing, and preparation for higher education. I look forward to working with you and learning together!
