My teaching method revolves around fostering a deep understanding around basic biological and scientific concepts. I use a combination of visual aids, real-life examples, and interactive tools to make the learning more accessible.
My typical lesson plan starts off casual at the beginning in order to become familiar with the students learning style and try to plan around that. This is also dependent on what the studying is for. If it's just to increase general knowledge I will draft a curriculum to follow. If it's for an assignment, class, or testing I would be sure to work through each problem, while giving enough space for real learning and retention. I encourage active participation and can apply knowledge of what study techniques benefited me and other students on our academic journeys.
What sets me apart is my years of experience in biological sciences and my continued ability to work with students from all walks of life. Currently I work with Middle and High school students, however with my bachelors degree in Biology I am able to assist at higher levels.
