About Jocelyn
My passion for biology began with curiosity about how living organisms function, adapt, and interact with their environments. This led me to pursue a B.Sc in Life Sciences followed by an M.Sc in Molecular Biology, developing both theoretical knowledge and practical laboratory skills. Over 8 years, I have guided students in understanding biological concepts, designing experiments, and applying analytical reasoning, fostering confidence and scientific thinking.
I focus on clarity, structured guidance, and hands-on learning. Lessons include detailed explanations, interactive experiments, data interpretation exercises, and discussions to encourage independent thinking and problem-solving skills.
Beyond teaching, I stay engaged with current biological research, lab techniques, and ecological studies, integrating contemporary insights into lessons. Witnessing students grow in understanding, curiosity, and analytical ability is deeply rewarding. My goal is to cultivate learners who are confident, curious, and capable of exploring biology with both critical thought and enthusiasm.

I emphasize observation, analysis, and inquiry to cultivate scientific thinking and a curiosity-driven approach to learning.
Lesson plans are adapted to student levels. Beginners start with cell structure, basic genetics, and ecosystem principles to build a solid foundation. Intermediate learners engage with molecular interactions, experimental design, physiology, and ecological interdependence. Advanced learners explore genetics research, biotechnology applications, bioinformatics, and experimental data analysis, preparing them for advanced academic study or scientific careers. Each session includes interactive discussions, hands-on demonstrations, and problem-solving exercises to ensure comprehensive understanding.
