About Charlotte
I discovered my love for biology through an early fascination with life processes, which led me to pursue a Master’s in Biological Sciences. Over 7 years, I have guided students to understand biological concepts through simple, relatable, and engaging teaching methods. I focus on nurturing curiosity, critical thinking, and practical understanding of living systems while building confidence and problem-solving skills.
I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring experiments, and applying concepts to real-world situations. Lessons combine clear explanations, visual illustrations, practical examples, and guided reasoning to ensure each student develops both comprehension and confidence in biology.
Outside teaching, I engage with current research, environmental studies, and scientific innovations to enrich my lessons. Watching students develop curiosity, analytical skills, and confidence in applying biological knowledge is deeply fulfilling. My ultimate goal is to instil a lifelong interest in understanding living systems while empowering students to approach science with both confidence and critical thinking.

Biology lessons are most effective when students can see connections between theory and the natural world. I cover topics such as cell biology, human anatomy, genetics, ecology, and physiology using simple explanations, real-life examples, and engaging activities. Each lesson encourages learners to ask questions, think critically, and develop a strong understanding of biological processes while maintaining curiosity and interest in the subject.
I structure lessons according to student levels. Beginners learn fundamental cell structures, organism classification, and basic physiology. Intermediate students explore genetics, ecological systems, and human body functions in more depth. Advanced learners focus on experimental design, data analysis, advanced molecular biology, and exam preparation. Every session incorporates examples, practice exercises, and guided reasoning to help students progress confidently and meaningfully.
Biology teaching extends beyond memorising facts. Students develop observation skills, logical reasoning, and the ability to connect ideas across topics. My goal is to cultivate curiosity, analytical thinking, and a sense of wonder about living systems. I strive to help learners not only perform well academically but also appreciate the complexity and beauty of the biological world.
