About Matthew
I have a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a Concentration in Molecular Cell Physiology. Throughout my time at University, I have maintained a 3.85 GPA. I am a member of the biology honors society as well as a supplemental instructor (tutor) in biology and intro. cell molecular biology. I am 22 years old and I am currently going into teaching/medical school.

My teaching method is encouragement, patience, and PRACTICE. When teaching a subject, it is always a must to connect with the student as much as you can. Providing encouragement is a huge part in being successful with a tutor. I believe that the tutor and student should have a good connection. Patience is important because practice makes perfect. When learning a subject, it is so important to learn actively through practice questions. Pure memorization is not a good approach when study biology. Understanding the material and being able to understand and explain it is key.
