About Rachel
I am a University lecturer and private tutor. I am also head of science at an independent school. I have been tutoring for more than 10 years and I have taught all levels from 11+ to master's degree. I have a friendly approach and like to build a rapport with the pupils to gain trust.

My teaching method uses mixed media such as videos, experiments to do at home and questions / work sheets. I also use online notes which can be accessed by pupils at any time. For younger pupils (11+ / 13+) I would use more task based activities, for older pupils and adult learners I use an inquiry based approach
