About Maria
My teaching style depends entirely on the student I am working with. Each student has different learning and information retention strategies, so the sessions are personalized and fully adapted to the student in question. Likewise, if the objective is preparation for tests or exams, questions will be worked in the style of national exams / teachers' tests, in order to maximize the student's success. Moreover, I believe that in addition to what is learned in class, it is also increasingly important to know the current situation of our planet, so that, when relevant and depending on the interests of students, real case examples will be discussed.

I got a degree in Biology at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon and a master's degree in Animal Behavior and Conservation in England. My passion for teaching led me to obtain the CCP (Certificate of Pedagogical Skills), to work in a study center and to give private explanations in the area of biology, from the 5th to the 12th years.
