About Mbongeni
“Hello, my name is Mbongeni and I've been a tutor for several years now specializing in biology and Agriculture. I'm a recent graduate trainee in biological sciences honors degree looking forward to doing a masters of research in molecular and cell biology with research on protein biochemistry and drug discovery especially during this COVID-19 pandemic. I have completed a research case study on healthcare workers phones as a source of nosocomial infections (health care associated infections) at Mpilo central hospital. The project produced ground breaking results which alerted awareness among the health workers. During my internship I worked in a clinical laboratory doing diagnosis tests on human tissues and bodily fluids helping doctors prescribe precise medication using knowledge taught at school and in the lab. I'm a science enthusiast who thinks in other terms viewing challenge and crisis as a driving force towards success and I believe everything is possible when we put our minds to it.

In my teaching I use english language and from many years of studying science and tutoring i have developed experience in simplifying my tutorials by moving from simple to complex in a pace that suits my students best and stressing on key subject and examination areas as well as those problem areas. My students always praise me for teaching them to work effectively not necessarily hard and bringing out the best in them. One of my proudest moments as a tutor was when I had the opportunity to work for Hlangabeza High School where I taught O' and A-level Biology subjects and the skills that enabled the majority of students to enter college.
