About Kit
I am a student at Imperial College London and I am currently in my 5th year of studying across various scientific areas. Previously to this I completed A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics as well as an AS-level in German. I therefore have a huge amount of experience in learning and an excellent understanding of what helps people overcome difficult challenges and learn effectively. I want to tutor people because I believe I have a talent for explaining complex concepts and helping people through stressful tests and exams. I find teaching extremely rewarding and take great pleasure in being able to help others achieve their goals.

I am new to formal tutoring but I have 5 years of experience in studying, throughout which I have developed a wide knowledge of my subjects and an understanding of how to teach them effectively. My lessons are for everyone GCSE level and below in Biology, Maths and German and will take place online or at home if it is close enough to my location in Earlsfield, South West London. My lessons will typically be an hour long but this is flexible depending on your needs. My approach to teaching is an interactive one focused on working together with you in a relaxed environment to help understand complex topics that you are struggling with. I will begin by identifying the areas of your study which you are finding difficult or that you want explaining in a different manner and then I will tailor the session to your needs. The general structure of a lesson will be to start by asking you what you understand about a topic, then I will provide my summary of it and fill in any gaps/corrections that are needed, before finally asking some questions to test your understanding of what I have taught.
