About Amanda
I was born and raised in Southern California, and I have always been a very service-oriented person! I put over 200 hours of volunteer time into my Boys and Girls Club before I actually decided to join the team and let them pay me for what I was doing! I really love working with kids and inspiring them to get excited about these subjects because, after all, they're the future! I was in a 4-way tie for Valedictorian at my high school and I have always been a very high-achieving student, and I'm super excited to share my knowledge with the youth of my community!

I worked at my local Boys and Girls Club as a Youth Development Professional, and I love coming up with new and exciting ways for the youth to get excited about academic subjects. Specifically, I was the program coordinator for the STEM programming we provided to our kids! I came up with new and exciting activities every week that were all based around the ideas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math! I love adapting to the specific needs of my kids and working will all age ranges! I had to come up with different activities for each age group, and I worked with kids from 4-17 years old!
