About Rachel

- What kind of person am I :)?

I am a very sociable person, but also very relaxed, people often feel comfortable with me.

It has been many years now that I teach, to all types of students (very young, teenagers, academics, as well as to students who have more or less ability to concentrate ...) . I have a good synthesis mind and a good ability to spot a student's shortcomings to see where to attack in order to build a course well, or to give advice adapted to the way in which each one works (I do not give my lessons the same way or the same advice to everyone, proper teaching is important to me). I am also a reliable person and above all very invested.

My goal is for the student to feel concerned and to come out satisfied with our sessions!

About the lesson

- Why I'm a good teacher!
First and foremost, I put people at ease (both extroverted and shy people). I have a good synthesis mind and a good ability to spot a student's shortcomings to see where to attack in order to build a course well, or to give advice adapted to the way in which each one works (I do not give my lessons the same way or the same advice to everyone, proper teaching is important to me). I am also a reliable person and above all very invested.

- Which subjects?
Anything which has a direct or indirect connection with math, biology, physics and chemistry. I have a very good scientific level, I can teach both young people and academics. I am used to teaching and adapting. For more specific subjects in a field (fluid mechanics, biochemistry, thermodynamics, reactor engineering etc ...) contact me and we see if I give this subject or not!

- Typical course of a course ?
1. I present the theory and I assess how much we should dig into it together
2. Then I focus on stimulating exercises and questions in learning
3. At the end of the course I test what has been learned and what needs to be deepened. A program is established for the rest of the courses.
It is important for me that the student feels supervised, concerned and that he understands how our sessions are organized
