About Mimi
I want to help students with this subject because I think biology is an increasingly coveted subject for a young person to have proficiency in, so I would enjoy instilling my passion for it in younger individuals whilst helping to boost their exam results and aid them in reaching their future goals. By also teaching revision and exam technique as well as biology content, I feel confident that the learner will improve in all areas of study if they set their mind to it !

I teach not only GCSE biology content but also exam technique, which is extremely important in excelling in this qualification due to its very specific mark scheme. I have a real passion for biology so try to use engaging and effective teaching methods such as spaced repetition and active recall. My area of study at university is biochemistry so I have a wide knowledge of many subject areas but a more specific interest in plant, human and cell biology.
