About Mike
I am a college student studying biochemistry and beginning a new chapter of my tutoring journey. Previously, I taught percussion lessons to middle- and high-school students for four years, helping them unlock a new appreciation for learning that extended beyond percussion.
I have extensively studied both biology and chemistry in college and greatly want to share my knowledge with others as they advance their own educational endeavors.

In the latter stages of my college experience, I can happily provide lessons to college and high school students alike. For college students, organic chemistry, general chemistry, and introductory biology are my most comfortable topics.
For high school students, chemistry, AP chemistry, biology, AP biology, and physical science courses are my preferred topics to teach.
My lessons can take many forms depending on the particular needs of a student. I believe strongly in the power of a deep conceptual understanding and real-world connections to the material, and try to develop these with my teaching. Life sciences are so relevant to everyday life and realizing this makes learning them much more pleasant.
I offer my first session to prospective students free of charge to ensure comfort and familiarity.
