About Lindsay
I am a first year student at Hood College, majoring in Biochemistry and minoring in Spanish: Iberian and Latin American Cultural Studies. I am currently enrolled in Chem 101, Biol 114, Span 207, Engl 136, FYS 101H. In the spring, I plan to take Chem 102, Biol 203, Span 397, Hon 102. I went to a private college preparatory high school, where I took 10 AP classes and graduated with a 4.43 and got a 5 on the AP Calculus AB exam. I played 2-3 sports during high school and currently play division 3 college softball, so I can help many students with time management and other challenges that they have with studying/school. I tutored many students (about 20) throughout high school, my proudest moment being with a young man that at the time was failing Geometry. After many hours of tutoring, he was able to get an A on his final exam. I am very passionate about helping others and I would love to help you achieve your goals in school.

I graduated from Annapolis Area Christian School and am currently enrolled as a first time student at Hood College. I will help anyone who wants to do better in school, whether it is with college preparation, time management, chemistry, biology, or math. When I meet with the student, I like to talk with them and assess what they specifically need help on. I go over quizzes, tests, and homework and go over problems that they missed or did not understand. I also make example problems based off of what they are specifically struggling on. Lastly, I help them find methods of studying or problem solving that works best for them.
