Hi, I’m Hanna — a recent Biochemistry graduate from the University of Bath with a strong academic background and hands-on experience in research and data analysis. I am currently getting a masters from Imperial College London in Neuroscience. I’ve worked in both academic and industry settings, including placements at GSK and the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, where I developed key skills in scientific communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving. I understand that science can feel overwhelming at times, and my goal is to break down complex topics into clear, manageable parts that help students feel confident and capable. Whether you're preparing for exams, trying to grasp difficult concepts, or simply want to boost your grades, I'm here to support you with patience, structure, and a personalised approach. About My Lessons
Hi! I’m Hanna — a Biochemistry graduate from the University of Bath with hands-on experience in both academic research and professional lab environments, including placements at GSK and the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. I’m passionate about making complex ideas simple and helping students feel confident in their subjects.
My Teaching Style
I take a supportive and flexible approach to tutoring. I always start by identifying the student’s needs, gaps in understanding, and preferred learning style. Lessons are interactive — we go through key concepts together, work through practice questions, and develop strategies for revision and exam success. I aim to create a comfortable space where students feel encouraged to ask questions and build lasting confidence. Lesson Format
Most of my sessions are 60 minutes, but I’m happy to adapt based on what works best for the student (shorter revision bursts or longer deep dives). I can also help with planning study schedules and improving scientific writing.
Qualifications & Experience
-BSc Biochemistry (University of Bath)
-Lab and research experience at GSK (assay development, data analysis)
-Research project experience using zebrafish models for translational research
-Public health research experience at LSHTM
-Strong academic writing, communication, and critical thinking skills
-Tutored peers during university and led journal clubs and presentations.
