About Jeremy

I believe I can work with the student to provide teaching in a manner that they prefer.

I studied Biochemistry at university in which, my degree required a strong knowledge of inorganic and organic chemistry.

I have experience in an academic laboratory setting, particularly working with antibiotic resistance in E. coli, utilizing biochemical techniques such as protein purification, bacterial transformation and mass spectrometry analysis.

With four years experience in a high-throughput viral testing laboratory and an internation food analyticsl company I gained experience with techniques such as RNA extraction and PCR testing.

During my four years as a Biochemist I have trained many colleagues in different techniques and processes.

About the lesson

In a tutoring session I would try to identify topics in which the student would like to work on, I would request that the student asks their school teacher for a specification so that we may work towards their best exam performance.

During the lesson discuss the topic and try to explain it in different ways until the student is happy with their understanding. Lastly questions to test their knowledge and understanding.

I also offer essay help and guidance.
