About John
Hi, I’m John! I’m a passionate and experienced Mathematics tutor with several years of teaching experience. I graduated Cum Laude from Binghamton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Statistics and Economics. My expertise lies in teaching high school Math, particularly Algebra, AP Calculus and AP Statistics. I believe that learning should be engaging for all students and I use various strategies to ensure a positive experience for all types of learners! In my free time, I like singing and playing piano.

My tutoring sessions will improve student understanding of the target material through practice. Instead of only focusing on the theory behind the material, a typical tutoring lesson first and foremost consists of active participation by the student through examples. Throughout the lesson, I will also ask questions to guide students towards the correct answers in order for them to fully grasp the concept at hand. My sessions are geared towards students needed aid in a multitude of courses, from elementary school level math, all the way up until multivariable calculus.
