About Patricia
Aside from teaching English in California, I enjoy several hobbies: yoga, climbing, bike riding, and kayaking, to name a few. I am also an artist and I am currently studying ceramics. I am fascinated by patterns and I would love to be a tile designer someday.
I have lived in Chile, Spain, and in several places in the US. I have an open mind and a lot of perspective about the world. I have progressive beliefs and try to make a positive impact on the world around me.

My goal as your teacher is to identify your strengths and goals so you can achieve success on your language learning journey. I am knowledgeable in advanced level grammar, accent reduction for different language backgrounds, and how to use reading and listening to achieve fluency.
I have taught English in a wide range of settings. I was an examiner for English exams and I can help prepare you for higher education in the US. I have access to a wealth of materials to enhance our lessons. I have lived in many different places, have lots of hobbies, and know how to keep my students engaged. I will adapt the lesson to your interests and focus on your individual goals.
