About Preetish

I’m originally from Mauritius and currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Finance at the University of Manitoba. I’ve been speaking French since a young age — it’s one of our national languages — and I enjoy using it daily in both casual and academic settings. As someone who understands how it feels to learn and master a second language, I focus on making my lessons friendly, flexible, and clear. I enjoy helping students grow more confident in their speaking, writing, and listening skills — whether you're learning French for school, travel, immigration, or just personal interest. Outside of my studies, I’m passionate about education, helping others succeed, and building cross-cultural connections. I believe learning a new language opens up amazing opportunities — and I’d love to help you discover that through French! Let’s learn together in a comfortable and encouraging space.

About the lesson

Bonjour!

My name is Preetish, and I’m a bilingual finance student with a strong passion for languages and teaching. I’ve studied and spoken French for many years, and now I’m excited to help others feel confident using it too — whether you’re a beginner, brushing up for school, or learning just for fun!

Here’s why you’ll enjoy learning French with me:

Simple and Friendly Approach: I break things down in an easy-to-understand way — perfect for beginners or anyone who’s struggled with grammar or pronunciation.

Focus on Real Conversation: We’ll practice the kind of French you can use in daily life, at school, or while traveling — not just textbook phrases.

Lessons Tailored to You: Whether you want help with speaking, writing, vocabulary, or just passing an exam, I’ll adapt the lessons to match your goals.

Bilingual Understanding: As someone who’s learned French myself, I understand what makes it tricky — and how to explain it clearly in English too!

Let’s make learning French enjoyable and stress-free.
Feel free to message me — I’d love to help you start or continue your French journey!

À bientôt!
