I’ve seen first-hand how powerful mathematics can be in solving real-world problems, particularly during my years working in finance. But beyond numbers and equations, what excites me most is helping others understand how math impacts everyday life and future careers, whether in business, technology, or even creative fields.

I believe that math isn’t just something you study for school—it's a tool that can open doors and expand opportunities. I want to share that knowledge and show you how the skills you’re building now can shape your future. More than anything, I love seeing that moment when something ‘clicks’ for a student, and I’m excited to be part of that journey with you.

About the lesson

With over 8 years of experience in the world of finance, particularly within a leadership role at a Big 4 accounting firm, I bring a unique and practical perspective to teaching mathematics. My professional background includes extensive work in financial modelling, data analysis, and problem-solving, all of which require strong mathematical foundations. Through this work, I developed a deep appreciation for the power of mathematics in solving real-world problems.

I am passionate about helping students understand not just the 'how' but also the 'why' behind mathematical concepts. By drawing from my career experience, I can offer students insights into how math applies to real-life scenarios, particularly in areas like finance, data analysis, and strategic decision-making. My goal is to make math approachable, engaging, and relevant for all learners, from those aiming to pursue careers in business and finance to those with a general interest in the subject.

I hold a First Class Honors degree in Economics from a Russell group London University and have honed my skills through hands-on experience in both the corporate and educational arenas. Whether working with individuals or groups, I aim to inspire confidence and a genuine interest in mathematics.
