About Virginie

Born and raised in France, and now based in Malta after living in Japan. Moving across cultures has given me a strong awareness of how differently people communicate, and I use that to help you feel comfortable speaking French in a natural way.

Before teaching, I worked in industry (engineering/technical environment) and later in creative fields such as graphic design, UX/UI, and photography. This mix makes me organized, adaptable, and easy to talk to—whether you want to discuss everyday life, travel, work, culture, or more specific topics.

I’m genuinely curious and open-minded. I love travel, food, and games, and I’m happy to use your interests to keep our conversations engaging and useful. My goal is simple: help you speak real everyday French, with more confidence and clearer pronunciation.

About the lesson

My lessons are for you if you want to:
_ speak everyday French (not just textbook sentences)
_ feel more comfortable speaking, even with mistakes
_ improve your pronunciation and sound more natural
_ practice real-life topics (work, travel, daily life, culture… or your own interests)
_ keep your French active and fluent through regular conversation

How we work together:

_ First lesson = diagnosis: we check your level, your goals, and what blocks you most (confidence / pronunciation / vocab / fluency).

_ Then I adapt everything to you: pace, topics, and difficulty — no one-size-fits-all program.

_ Typical lesson: quick warm-up → guided conversation → short recap with targeted corrections.

_ I often use a short video and/or podcast as a starting point, then we discuss it naturally.

_ Friendly warning: bring a glass of water, you’re going to talk a lot

_I’ll correct without constantly interrupting, and you’ll leave with clear takeaways + 2–3 things to focus on next time.

Lessons are mainly in French (immersion). English support if needed. 日本語は少し話せます。
