About Jessica
Hi! I'm Jessica Paige. I was born and raised in Hillsdale, New Jersey, a little town outside of New York City. I grew up immersed in theater, living only a short drive to the city. I had my first performance at ten years old, and I haven't stopped since (and certainly don't plan on it)! I graduated from Florida Southern College with my B.F.A. in Musical Theater, and currently live in Los Angeles. Some of the techniques I am trained in include Stanislavsky, Chekhov, Uta Hagen, Stella Adler, and Meisner! I am a huge theater nerd, especially musical theater! I hope to work with you soon!

Hello!
My name is Jessica and I'm an actress in singer with my BFA in Musical Theatre and Film/TV experience. My teaching style varies student to student as I adapt each lesson to your needs!
What sets me apart is my toolkit of techniques to pull from, including Stanislavsky, Chekhov, Uta Hagen, Stella Adler, Meisner, and more. I personalize these methods to your preferences, whether you lean towards deep analysis or creative imagination.
A typical session involves your performance, self-analysis, my feedback, and collaborative work on your piece. We break it down step by step or all at once, based on your pace. I will also ask some questions about your character to make sure the background you have is serving you. If needed, we will make sure those decisions are solid by having fun and trying out a few different options to see what resonates the best with you.
If you're delving into musical theatre, be sure to have your track ready. Too many people have beautiful voices but don't connect emotionally, so my main focus is your acting of the song while also ensuring healthy singing techniques.
Lastly, I'm more than happy to help you improve your self-tape set up or coach your audition and be your reader!
With all of the technical talk aside, my ultimate goal is nurturing confidence and stage presence alongside honing acting skills.
Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, I'd love to work with you! I have experience coaching from as young as pre-school (I used to work at an arts based pre-school!). We can refine your existing pieces or explore recommendations based on your goals. Let's find what works for YOU!
