About Beth
Hello, My name is Beth Hayes, and I work for the Albuquerque School District. In my 20-year career in education, I have worked with students from ages 2-90+ from preschool to doctoral students. In all teacher-student relationships, the respect must be felt by the student. They must know that you care about them and believe they can succeed. The success of my students is the first way that I measure success. A second way I measure success is by the number of students who reach out to me later in life to thank me for helping them through a difficult time. Tutoring is a very rewarding job.

Dr. Beth likes to create fun and engaging lessons that target the problem areas of a student and address the fundamentals of a class that may have not been learned or memorized correctly. Once the sources of error have been eliminated, a student can catch up on the newer content using a strong, solid foundation. This new student is able to master what is required in the course. Additionally, with coursework in occupational therapy, I bring breathing exercises and stretches to give the body and mind a 20 sec break as needed.
