About Dita
I am Dita, 24 years old. I study chemistry at Utrecht University. I really enjoy teaching and transferring the material in a way that works for the student so that they finaly get the subject that they have been struggling with.
I started teaching tutoring in high school, ten years ago. English was the first course and later Dutch. The courses that I prefer and thought the most are Mathematics, Physics and of course Chemistry.
At the university I also supervised students in the lab.
I am currently setting up a chemistry exam course for highschool students. For this course, I co-write the teaching material myself.

I like to listen to what the student wants to know or where he/she gets stuck. I then explain the difficult subjects step by step, preferably in different ways, so that the student understands it better and gets more hooks to connect it with his/her current knowledge. In addition, i think exercise is a very important part that turns understanding into mastering.
