About Mishra

With more than 7 years of teaching experience, I have trained students from beginner to advanced levels in flute. I teach learners from school, college, and professional backgrounds who want structured and practical guidance. My teaching method is step-by-step and student-centred.

I begin with breathing techniques and sound clarity, then gradually introduce scales, articulation, and musical expression. In addition to performance training, I teach music theory, staff notation reading, ear development, and improvisation basics to strengthen overall musicianship.

I regularly monitor progress and provide clear feedback for improvement. My special ability is identifying technical mistakes early and correcting them patiently. I aim to create a positive and motivating learning environment where students enjoy growing musically.

About the lesson

My flute teaching methodology is based on Adaptation to Learning Styles, Flexibility, Collaboration, and Positivity to ensure personalised and effective instruction. I begin by understanding each student’s musical background and learning preference, then design structured lessons that build strong technical foundations.

Core focus areas include breath control, embouchure development, posture alignment, tone consistency, articulation clarity, finger coordination, and rhythmic accuracy. I incorporate long-tone practice, scale exercises, and articulation drills to strengthen control and stability.

As students progress, I introduce phrasing, dynamics, vibrato basics, and expressive interpretation to enhance musicality. Flexibility allows me to adjust lesson pace and repertoire according to exam preparation, stage performance, or personal learning goals.

Collaboration encourages students to take ownership of their progress through shared goal setting and feedback discussions. Positivity creates a supportive environment where challenges are viewed as opportunities to grow.

Alongside flute instruction, I also teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm training, ear development, and performance techniques for well-rounded musicianship.
