About Bongani
My name is Bongani Ngwenya, originally from Nhlazatshe in Mpumalanga. I'm currently persuing a bachelors degree in Electrical engineering at the University of the Witwatersrand, I'm in my 3rd year .
I fell in love with maths in Grade 3 for as much as I can remember. In Grade 8 I started helping learners who were slightly falling behind with understanding the subject. In Grade 9 I started assisting learners in Grade 11 and 12 who were also struggling with Mathematics, in core sections like euclidean geometry, algebra, financial mathematics and especially trigonometry. I was that kid who always used his time to practice solving problems during my teenage days.
I have been teaching Mathematics informally for 8 years since I'm not a teacher by profession but the results I get from the learners I taught, it looks like I am a teacher because everyone I taught in a continuous consistent manner never got less than 65%. These results proved to me that I am capable of helping other people to understand Mathematics. One thing I like to make clear is that no one was born to just understand Mathematics, it takes a lot of practice and patience to understand Mathematics.
You will understand it if you really want to understand it and that's not a miracle it's consistently working on solving the next problem better.

Mathematics has and is still considered one of the hardest subjects ever created by mankind. But I personally,through my experience firstly as a high school student, think that is not true, the missing link is that people tend to jump into solving complex problems without firmly knowing the basic fundamentals in every section in Mathematics. I like to make learning maths to be a fun exercise, not a boring solving session, instead I make it a time of playing with numbers using basic understandable rules.
Every learner I have ever taught so farimproved their grades in maths from getting as little as 34% to 78% through constant practice, not by miracle.
So I bend the rules for making sure everyone understand inevery lesson I deliver to any student.
