Typical Lesson Plan:

2. Mini-lesson (15-20 minutes): Introduce or review a specific writing concept, technique, or skill, using examples and demonstrations.
3. Guided practice (20-30 minutes): Engage students in a structured writing activity applying the skills from the mini-lesson, providing guidance and feedback throughout.
4. Peer review (15-20 minutes): Have students exchange their work and provide constructive feedback to one another, fostering collaboration and analytical skills.
5. Independent practice (20-30 minutes): Allow students time to revise their work based on peer and teacher feedback, or to work on an extended writing project.
