About Cole
I have played cello for over a decade and play guitar and bass as well for a few local groups, and I write for a local avant-garde band. I'm currently a student at Berklee focusing on production. I think about and use theory in some way every day, it's an indispensable tool in any playing and writing that I do.

I think theory is best taught through examples that are already familiar to the student. From the start we will look at the music you like and begin to analyze, looking for the foundational concepts that will be most useful to you. We'll work together to figure out what kinds of exercises and practice methods will best suit your goals.
