About Marc
I'm a 22-year-old German-American guitarist based between the US and Europe. I've been teaching guitar for over four years, working with students from age 6 to 60 across all skill levels and musical styles. I was awarded a scholarship to Berklee College of Music and completed a music conservatory preparation program in Germany, where I developed a deep foundation in music theory and performance.
I got into teaching because I genuinely enjoy watching people connect with music — that moment when something clicks for a student is the best part of the job. I bring a lot of energy and patience to every lesson, and I think learning an instrument should feel exciting, not like homework.

Every lesson I teach is different — because every student is different. Whether you've never held a guitar or you've been playing for years and want to break through a plateau, I start by understanding what you actually want to get out of playing. No rigid method, no one-size-fits-all curriculum.
We work on what matters to you. That might be learning your favorite songs, building solid technique from the ground up, understanding music theory in a way that finally makes sense, or developing your own style as a songwriter. Progress looks different for a 10-year-old discovering music for the first time and a 45-year-old who always wanted to learn — and I adapt accordingly.
Lessons are available in English, German, and Spanish.
