About Lucinda

I’ve been teaching music lessons for over 10 years. I hold a degree from Berklee College of Music and also studied at the Conservatorium in Sydney, Australia, where I’m originally from.

I’ve helped students prepare for exams, competitions, and auditions, with several earning scholarships to top music programs. I work professionally as a pianist, singer, songwriter, and music producer.

About the lesson

I offer lessons that are both engaging and inspiring. Every student learns differently, and I take the time to understand each individual’s learning style. I love watching students grow in skill and confidence as they develop a genuine love for their instrument and for music.

I teach all styles, based on the student’s interests, while maintaining a strong focus on sound technique and proper foundations. Our time together is used intentionally, and I’m fully committed to each student’s progress.

I teach from my studio in Venice Beach, over Zoom, and—schedule permitting—travel to students’ homes.
Lessons at my home or within the Venice area are offered at a reduced rate, as they do not require travel. Feel free to reach out with any questions about pricing or availability.

Lucinda is an absolute gem! She’s taught both of my daughters and myself. One of my daughters is neurodivergent, and Lucinda handled that with such grace and ease. Her patience, kindness, and ability to tailor her teaching style to fit each individual is truly remarkable.

Lucinda takes the time to think through which pieces to teach, making sure each one is the perfect fit. She’s a gifted musician, and that talent shines through in every lesson. I can’t recommend her enough—she’s a brilliant teacher and a lovely person!
