About Gwen
Picking up my first guitar at 8 years old changed everything about how I see sound. I am a Berklee graduate who spent 13 years playing blues and rock gigs up and down the West Coast. Teaching guitar has evolved from a side project into the absolute highlight of my weekly routine.
Students often find me when they feel stuck playing the same pentatonic patterns over and over again. Helping players move past those creative walls and actually enjoy the process of practicing is why I show up every single day.

You will hear a riff you already know within the first few minutes of sitting down to play. Theory is not some dusty textbook concept here, but a tool we use to break down your favorite songs into digestible pieces.
Because I have a degree from Berklee, I can explain complex stuff like scales, modes, and fingerpicking without making your brain hurt. We work on electric technique, power chords, and ear training through real music. You are going to sound better by the end of the first hour.
