About
As a recent student, I know what it's like to grow up in a tech- and distraction-filled world. Students struggle with distractions and with teachers who don't understand that because they grew up in another time. But as I've tutored for the past four years, I've noticed that warmth, empathy, structure, and consistency are the best things I bring to help students be successful. This way, we have a balance of productive, yet flexible sessions. I take into account both what the student wants and needs, and structure our sessions in the best way for them to learn. I don't want to just talk at you for an entire session, I want us to work together to help you learn. I go for less lecturing and more dynamic discussions and practice!

As a recent student, I know what it feels like to be lectured at without retaining the information. That's why my tutoring focuses on dynamic, discussion- and practice-based sessions. By connecting with students and giving them the room to talk, they can feel comfortable in asking questions. I bring the knowledge and structure while students bring their own voices, curiosity, strengths, and struggles. I adapt to what the student wants and needs, as I analyze their best learning styles. I work together with the student and their family, so that we can work on their difficulties and explore their potential.
High school students are smart and capable, and I want to make sure they know that by creating a welcoming and structured learning space.
