About Peter
Hi, I'm Peter! I got my Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley in 2021. As an engineer, I've developed a strong understanding and command of Algebra, Calculus, Trigonometry, Geometry, and Physics, and their applications to real-world problems. I’ve been tutoring since 2020. Since then, I’ve helped countless students improve their grades and understanding in math and physics courses, both at the high school and college level. I’ve always had a passion for learning and understanding new things, and I want to bring that joy and passion to other people!

My approach to tutoring usually involves real world applications of concepts being taught, then teaching the ability to generalize and abstract the problem into its core, solvable components. I also understand that tutoring is a learning experience for myself: I need to learn the best way to teach each student. As such, I make sure to revise and adapt lesson plans as I continue to teach a student, tailoring the learning experience to best suit them.
