About Aditi

Hello! I’m Aditi, a native of Kolkata, West Bengal, where I grew up surrounded by the richness of the Bengali language and culture. I completed my schooling up to the secondary level at Patha Bhavan, Kolkata, followed by my higher secondary education at Scottish Church Collegiate School. Later, I pursued my graduation in English Literature from Mahadevananda Mahavidyalaya College under the University of Calcutta. My academic journey has given me a strong foundation in both Bengali and English, allowing me to bridge the two languages with clarity and ease. Over the years, I have taught students of various levels — in schools as well as through private tuitions — which has helped me adapt my teaching style to different age groups and learning needs. Teaching is more than just a profession for me; it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I love the company of students, and I find that the learning exchange always goes both ways — I teach my students, but I also learn from their curiosity, energy, and unique perspectives. As a teacher, I strive to create a space where students feel comfortable, encouraged, and motivated. My goal is to not just teach a language, but to inspire confidence, spark interest, and make learning Bengali a joyful and enriching experience.

About the lesson

A typical class with me is interactive and structured around your needs — starting with a quick recap, moving into guided learning with examples, and finishing with practical exercises or conversations. This way, every concept is not just understood but also applied immediately.

As a native Bengali speaker with a strong academic background in English Literature, I have full confidence in my grasp of the subject. But more importantly, I bring that confidence into my teaching in a way that makes you feel comfortable, supported, and motivated. My love for the language is contagious — I’ll make Bengali come to you naturally, without stress or pressure.

I’ve taught non-native learners to communicate fluently in Bengali and can adapt my lessons with ease for all levels — school children, college students, or adults. Whether you’re learning for exams, career, culture, or simply personal growth, I’ll tailor the pace and method to your goals.
