About Ben
Hi, I am Ben. I'm a maths graduate from the University of Manchester, where I did an integrated masters and finished with a first and I'm looking to help other people on their journey with maths. I'm interested in maths, physics and running as well as a range of other topics, feel free to ask me anything you like about them. I'm tutoring because I like to see people reaching their potential, and playing a part in helping someone be more confident in their mathematical ability! I did my A-levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science and proud to have achieved A*A*A*A in my results.

A typical lesson with me will start with a specific topic that we want to cover this session. This can be something chosen by you (the student), or a topic I have planned beforehand. I will start by giving a run over of the topic, where we can establish an initial understanding. We will then slowly go through a problem together, where I will try and make sure that each step makes sense. Then I will set a question for you, where you get to explain why we are doing exactly what we are doing at each point in a problem. I find this to be an extremely effective method for building a strong understanding of the topic at hand.
