About Aditya
I am Aditya Prakash, a beginner in my UG journey, and I have completed my BCA. Many times I feel that homework or study tasks are beyond my abilities, and that makes me delay starting them. Sometimes I put off homework as a way of rebelling against parents or teachers, and sometimes I find the topic boring. I also wait for the “perfect” time to begin, but in reality, that perfect time never comes. At times, the work feels so big that I don’t know where to start.
Understanding these reasons helps me see that procrastination is not laziness—it comes from fear, boredom, or confusion. If I reflect on what exactly stops me, I can choose the right method to stay motivated, like breaking the task into smaller parts, starting with just 10 minutes, or setting simple deadlines for myself.

That’s when you need to “chunk down”. Break down each task into small chunks.
Assign yourself a certain number of those chunks each day. Suddenly, you’re no longer faced with a scary task, but rather a series of manageable chunks.
