About Divya
I’m Divya. I am a mover, feeler and a creative human. I am also someone who believes that authentic movement and dance can bring an expansive sense of being to any woman's life.
I am looking to work with adult women seeking self-connection through movement.
I grew up dancing Bollywood and Western styles, and trained in Hip Hop, Street Jazz, Contemporary, and Bolly-Hop as my life took me to the US and Canada. Alongside performance and training, I’ve facilitated beginner movement sessions for women's circles.

About the lesson

My sessions are for women of all ages - they will be gentle and focused on connection with your body. We'll work through basic warm-ups, simple moves to get you into your groove, a few gentle movement combinations centred around nature metaphors, improvisation, and self- expression - this is to tap into your explorative side while staying grounded and feeling your feet on the ground. We'll end with an optional reflection or some deep belly breaths, whichever feels good.
Some logistics
- These sessions will be online (not in person, sorry)
- I only offer them between 5 PM to 7 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. (Please reach out only if you see an overlap with these times. I'm unfortunately not able to accommodate any other slots atm)
