About Loren
This is my tenth year studying Latin and my second year working as a Latin TA. I have experience with large groups as well as single individuals and a variety of resources and textbooks at my disposal. I plan to pursue teaching Latin as part of my career plan, and I also aspire to be a historical consultant.

My default teaching style uses visual aids (PowerPoint) with a lecture portion and interactive exercise portion, leaving some time at the end for review of specific concepts and trouble spots, but I am flexible and can adapt to students' specific needs. A typical lesson plan would include either the content from a specific textbook and relevant exercises, or (if no textbook is involved in the course) a review of areas the student needs help in and exercises. The first session with a student will usually be a "get to know you" session, to ensure that we are compatible and to judge which areas the student needs help in, in order to properly prepare future lessons.
