About Eli
I'm a performing musician working in LA. I have a band that I write and arrange music for. I have also been teaching for over a decade. I've taught in a variety of settings, from classes to private lessons. I have worked with a team teaching marching band at a high school, teaching music at summer camps, and teaching classes of elementary-aged students. Most of my teaching is private lessons, however.

I'll break down subjects into personalized exercises that are simple and digestible. There's a lot to think about when learning an instrument. I aim to reduce that as much as possible so my student can have fun and approach the instrument with excitement. I have games and activities that keep kids engaged, and adults love to learn when it's focused on music they listen to.
