About Saahirah
I am a BCom Accounting student with a strong academic foundation in Financial Accounting, auditing and finance. I have experience tutoring first- and second-year university students, which has helped me develop the ability to explain complex accounting concepts in a clear, structured, and easy-to-understand way.
My focus is on helping students truly understand accounting principles rather than memorizing methods. I break down difficult topics into simple steps, use practical examples, and guide students through questions until they can confidently work independently. I am patient, approachable, and adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s learning needs.
The reason why I like tutoring is because I was exposed to it at a young age, I loved when a student would understand their work when I would explain it to them. I also go the extra mile to use real life examples whilst being patient and a dedicated tutor

My tutoring approach focuses on simplifying commerce into manageable sections that students can easily understand and apply. I believe in active learning, where students are guided through examples and practice questions until they are confident working independently, rather than simply memorizing theory.
I offer online tutoring in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, and basic Auditing concepts, in English. I conduct exam preparation, problem-solving techniques, and understanding core principles. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s needs, whether they require help with specific topics, assignment support, or full exam revision.
A typical lesson with me includes a brief explanation of the concept, handwritten solutions and or mind maps, guided exam questions & personalized feedback from our lessons.
My lessons are aimed at first- and second-year university accounting students, as well as high school learners who need support in understanding accounting fundamentals and improving their exam performance.
