About Alex

I am a fiddle player passionate about music and the craft of fiddle/violin playing.

I'm keen on good technique, with a positive problem-solving attitude. I want my students to feel confident in themselves and safe to make mistakes. I try to make my sessions enjoyable and fun.

About the lesson

I have had two lessons with Alex and already my bow hold has significantly improved. Now I feel,
"I can now actually get this",
after 15 years of feeling completely cack-handed at the fiddle.

Alex's teaching style is gently confident, precise and very positive.

He makes a remarkable difference in even just one lesson. I cannot recommend him highly enough." - Fran O'Connell (Fiddle Student)
